Is youth football dangerous?
As with any physical sport, there is a risk of injury when playing football. Even with safety precautions followed to the letter, scrapes, bruises, sprains, joint dislocations, broken bones and concussions are possible. Although Young Knights Football and Cheer makes a concerted effort to mitigate these potential injuries, because of the physical nature of the game, it is difficult to remove risk entirely.
Young Knights Youth Football and Cheer "Squire" program provides registration fee scholarships to children, who without this financial assistance would not be able to participate in youth football or cheerleading. The scholarship focuses on providing opportunities for area youth to participate in football and cheer benefiting from the physical, mental, and character-training this program can provide. If you are interested in learning more about this opportunity please email [email protected]
